Summary
Voyager encounters people of Kes’s race, the Ocompa, living on a space station; they lead the crew to the female of the Caretaker’s species, who believes they caused the Caretaker’s death.
Our Take
This one promises answers about the Caretaker and mostly delivers buildup instead. Tanis makes for a decently creepy antagonist and Kes gets some real development with her expanding powers, but the pacing sags in the middle and the ending wraps things up too quickly to feel earned. Watchable, just don’t expect the payoff the premise suggests.
