Summary
Severely depressed over the loss of his leg at the Siege of AR-558, Nog struggles to return to normal life aboard DS9 and seeks shelter within the holographic world of Vic Fontaine.
Our Take
A quiet, unusually intimate hour that gives Nog’s trauma the space it deserves instead of rushing him back to duty. Aron Eisenberg and James Darren carry the whole thing, and their scenes together are genuinely affecting. It sags in the middle when the holosuite setup starts repeating itself, but the ending lands. Worth watching even if it’s more character study than Star Trek adventure.
