Once More Unto the Breach

Episode Summary & Review

Summary

With the Dominion War raging, the aging Klingon warrior Kor feels left out of the action, and requests an opportunity to die with honor as a warrior. However, Kor’s efforts are stymied by Martok, who holds a deeply personal grudge against Kor.

Our Take

Kor’s return gives John Colicos plenty of room to ham it up, and the old warrior’s stubborn dignity lands better than expected. The Martok grudge subplot feels a bit thin, but the final act delivers a genuinely moving sendoff. A solid character piece that’s worth the time, even if it leans on familiar Klingon honor material.
