Summary
Ezri Dax struggles to cope with the memories of her previous hosts while attempting to forge new relationships with Jadzia’s old friends. Meanwhile, Garak tries to manage a severe bout of claustrophobia.
Our Take
A quieter hour that leans on character over plot, and it mostly works. Nicole de Boer gets a real chance to define Ezri beyond “the new Dax,” and her awkward, honest scenes with Sisko and Worf give the episode its heart. The Garak claustrophobia thread feels a bit undercooked by comparison, but this is still a solid, low-key watch.
