Summary
The discovery of a 30,000 year old Bajoran tablet buried under the holy city of B’hala claiming the time of the Reckoning is at hand, and that the future of Bajor will be decided by its outcome.
Our Take
A decent Bajoran mythology episode that leans hard on prophecy talk without ever making the stakes feel urgent. Sisko’s crisis of faith gets some good moments and Kira’s possession sequence is genuinely creepy, but the ending copes out with a reset that undoes most of the drama. Fine for fans tracking the Emissary arc, but casual viewers can skip it.
