Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Dr. Bashir’s plans to attend a medical conference on Casperia Prime are canceled when the Department of Internal Affairs arrives on DS9 and announces there has been a major security breach and a member of the senior staff has been passing information to the Dominion.
Our Take
A paranoid bottle show that turns DS9 into an interrogation chamber, and it mostly works thanks to a genuinely unnerving performance from the guest playing the investigator. Bashir’s mounting isolation is fun to watch even when the twists get a bit convenient. Worth your time, and the ending sets up bigger things nicely.
