Episode Summary & Review
Summary
In an attempt to regain his lost honor, Worf’s brother Kurn arrives on the station with a troubling request. Meanwhile, Major Kira and Chief O’Brien investigate Klingon activity near the Bajoran border.
Our Take
A heavy, gloomy hour that leans hard on Klingon honor culture, and mostly earns its darkness. Tony Todd is terrific as Kurn, and the Worf material lands with real weight, though the B-plot with Kira and O’Brien feels like filler padding out the runtime. The ending is bleak in a way the show doesn’t often attempt. Worth watching for the Klingon storyline alone.
