Summary
On a shakedown cruise to Earth to drop off Nog at Starfleet Academy, a malfunction on Quark’s new ship causes Quark, Rom, and Nog to crash in the year 1947 in Roswell, New Mexico.
Our Take
A goofy comedy episode that mostly earns its laughs, thanks to Quark being the perfect fish out of water and Rom getting some genuinely funny moments as the reluctant voice of reason. The 1947 military characters are broad, but the Ferengi perspective keeps things lively. Lightweight fun, but well made and worth the half hour.
