Episode Summary & Review
Summary
When Sisko defends a Karemma ship that has been trading with the Federation without the Dominion’s knowledge, a badly damaged Defiant is forced into a dangerous game of cat and mouse with two Jem’Hadar ships inside a gas giant.
Our Take
A tense submarine-style hour that trades space battles for claustrophobic corridor drama, and it mostly works. Bashir and Dax trapped together is a nice touch, and Sisko gets real weight with the Karemma negotiator. The pacing sags a bit in the middle, but the atmosphere holds. Worth your time.
