Summary
When a damaged Cardassian ship shows up near DS9, Quark is unexpectedly reunited with his lost Cardassian love, who is now a member of the Cardassian dissident movement.
Our Take
This one leans hard on Quark’s softer side, and Armin Shimerman sells the romance better than you’d expect from a Ferengi episode. The Cardassian political subplot gives it some weight, though the villains feel pretty stock. It drags in the middle and the ending wraps up too neatly. Decent character stuff, worth a watch if you like Quark, but skippable otherwise.
