Summary
Dr. Mora Pol, the Bajoran scientist who studied Odo when he was first discovered, arrives on DS9 with evidence that he has found DNA signatures similar to Odo’s on a planet in the Gamma Quadrant.
Our Take
A solid Odo episode that digs into his prickly relationship with Dr. Mora, and those father-son frustrations carry the hour even when the monster plot gets silly. The creature effects and the lab reveals are pretty standard stuff, but Rene Auberjonois sells every bitter glance. Worth watching for the character work, just don’t expect the mystery to pay off much.
