Summary
As Federation citizens are evacuated from DS9, Sisko and a skeleton crew attempt to prevent The Circle and the Bajoran military forces under their control from occupying the station. Kira and Dax attempt to reach the Chamber of Ministers on Bajor with evidence of Cardassian involvement in the conflict.
Our Take
A tense, satisfying close to the opening trilogy, with the station standoff delivering real urgency and Kira and Dax’s trek through the caves giving the Bajor plot a proper payoff. Some of the evacuation beats feel like filler, and the firefight is pure B-movie fun. Worth your time, especially if you’ve watched the first two parts.
