Episode Summary & Review
Summary
A visiting Lwaxana Troi becomes enamoured with Odo after he retrieves a stolen item of hers from a thief. Meanwhile, an alien computer program wreaks havoc with the station’s systems.
Our Take
Lwaxana chasing Odo sounds like a bad sitcom setup, but it actually lands because she’s the first person to treat his shapeshifting with curiosity instead of discomfort. Their scenes together are surprisingly sweet. The station malfunction subplot is generic filler by comparison, though it gives Odo a nice moment to close on. Worth watching for the character work alone.
