Summary
When Wesley Crusher’s team suffers an accident at Starfleet Academy, Picard helps investigate its cause, and believes a cover up is taking place.
Our Take
A solid, grounded hour that trades space adventure for a military ethics story, and it mostly works. Wesley finally gets material worth caring about, and the scene where Picard reads him the riot act is the highlight. The cadet cover-up drags a bit in the middle, but the ending lands with real weight. Worth watching even if you’re not a Wesley fan.
