Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Q questions the dispassionate Captain Picard about his relationship with a beautiful archaeologist, but when Picard refuses to give him any satisfactory answers, he transports the crew to Sherwood Forest for a reenactment of the Robin Hood legend.
Our Take
Silly fun that mostly earns its runtime. The Sherwood Forest romp is goofy in a way TNG rarely attempts, and the cast clearly enjoys playing dress-up, though John de Lancie’s Q feels more like a pest than a threat this time. Vash brings out a pricklier Picard, which is the real draw. A lightweight hour, but a charming one if you’re in the mood for it.
