Summary
Picard tries to save a terrorized planet and the Enterprise from a woman claiming to be the devil who has returned after 1,000 years to claim the planet as she was promised.
Our Take
A courtroom episode with a sci-fi twist, and it mostly coasts on the fun of watching Picard lawyer up against a con artist playing the devil. Marta DuBoi clearly enjoys chewing the scenery as Ardra, and the cat-and-mouse reveal is satisfying even if you see it coming. Lightweight stuff, but an easy hour that never drags.
