Summary
A roguish space captain charms all; Data consults a comic about humor.
Our Take
A lightweight hour that wants to be a romantic comedy but mostly coasts on Okona’s smirk, which only works about half the time. The Data storyline is the real draw, with Brent Spiner gamely fumbling through jokes and a genuinely fun turn from Joe Piscopo. Harmless fun, but the main plot is thin enough that you’ll forget it by the credits.
