Summary
While involved in a treaty discussion with the inhabitants of Ligon II, Tasha is abducted and Picard is forced to abide by the inhabitants Code of Honor to obtain her release.
Our Take
This one’s a rough watch. The Ligonians are a lazy bundle of dated stereotypes, the acting from the guest cast is stiff, and Tasha gets sidelined in her own story right when the show should be building her up. There’s some fun in watching Picard squirm through diplomatic nonsense, but mostly it’s an hour TNG spent decades apologizing for.
