Our Take
A nearly wordless first outing that leans on atmosphere and animation to carry a simple coming-of-age story. The cat-and-mouse sequence in the fields is genuinely tense and the quiet moments land well, though the whole thing feels more like a beautiful prologue than a full episode. Worth your fifteen minutes if you’re curious where the series is headed.
