Episode Summary & Review
Summary
The Aya Monitor is after a secret weapon on the deserted planet Ranx, and sends a massive army of Manhunters to retrieve it. While Hal, Kilowog and Razer are ordered to the planet, the Green Lantern Corps, led by Guy Gardner, launch a simultaneous attack to beat her to it.
Our Take
This one feels like setup more than payoff, with a lot of ships firing at each other and not much emotional ground covered. The Manhunter army looks great and Razer gets a few decent moments, but Guy Gardner is mostly used for comic relief that doesn’t land. Fine as a piece of the finale puzzle, just don’t expect it to stand on its own.
