Our Take
Richie finally suits up as Gear and honestly, it’s about time. The episode works best when it focuses on his excitement about joining the hero life instead of the generic stolen-tech villain plot, which is forgettable stuff. The backpack gadget design is fun and the Virgil/Richie dynamic keeps things light. A decent, watchable origin story that plays it safe.
