Our Take
A decent season opener that leans hard on its Batman crossover appeal, with Kevin Conroy showing up to give the DC connection some weight. The new villain’s backstory is sympathetic but handled in a pretty by-the-numbers way. Worth a watch if you like the show, though it plays more like a standard Saturday morning adventure than a premiere.
