Our Take
This one leans on a villain-impersonates-the-hero setup that superhero shows have done a hundred times, and it doesn’t add much new. The Static and Gear banter keeps things watchable, and Rubberband Man gets a decent spotlight, but the middle stretch sags with obvious twists you’ll see coming. A fine filler episode, just don’t expect it to stick with you.
