Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Superman crosses paths with a fiery tempered, metahuman thief named Volcana. She possesses pyrokinetic abilities and is on the run from a secret government agency. With the help of a telekinetic psychologist, Superman hopes to locate and help the misguided Volcana before her fire is put out permanently.
Our Take
A middling season opener that coasts on Volcana’s attitude more than anything else. The government-conspiracy angle gets introduced and then mostly dropped, and the telepath subplot feels like filler until the predictable showdown. Some decent action beats and a fun rooftop date scene keep it watchable, but it never becomes more than a routine chase episode. Fine background viewing, nothing more.
