Summary
Brainiac’s consciousness takes control of LexCorp’s computer systems and traps Luthor in his own laboratory, forcing him to rebuild Brainiac’s primary body in secret. After Clark questions why Lex is missing from his office, Superman and Mercy Graves team up to investigate his disappearance.
Our Take
A middling entry that leans on the novelty of Luthor and Brainiac forced into uneasy partnership. The Clark-and-Mercy pairing is a nice touch, but the middle stretch spends too long in the lab while the villain’s plan inches forward. Fine for continuity watchers, skippable otherwise.
