Summary
Superman and Lobo team up to escape the Preserver’s holdings. Additionally, they must fight off a vile band of competing bounty hunters who share a vendetta against the “Main Man.”
Our Take
Part two is mostly one long chase, and it starts to feel that way. Lobo is still fun in small doses, but an hour of his shtick wears thin, and the bounty hunters are thin cartoons without much menace. Some decent action beats and a satisfying ending keep it watchable, though. Fine finish to a two-parter that probably didn’t need two parts.
