Episode Summary & Review
Summary
When Robin is mysteriously abducted from his college campus, Batman begins a fruitless search… until he is astounded by the sudden appearance in the Batcave of Ra’s al Ghul. Ra’s quickly reveals that his daughter, Talia, has been abducted under circumstances similar to Robin’s, suggesting that the same people are responsible. So begins an uneasy truce between Batman and ‘The Demon’.
Our Take
This one leans hard on globe-trotting adventure vibes, and it mostly coasts on Ra’s al Ghul’s presence, which David Warner plays with real gravity. The mystery itself is thin and the pacing sags in the middle stretches. It’s a decent setup hour for a two-parter, but on its own it feels like half a story. Watchable, just not memorable.
