Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Thanks to a freak accident during a high speed chase, the Batmobile is virtually demolished. After Batman takes the car to his personal mechanic, Earl Cooper, the Penguin makes his move and tampers with the Batmobile, putting it under his control.
Our Take
A decent Penguin outing that never quite hits top gear. The idea of Batman having a regular guy who fixes his car is charming, and Earl Cooper gives the episode some warmth the villains lack. The remote-controlled Batmobile chase in the second half is genuinely fun, even if the setup takes a while to get there. Solid but forgettable.
