Summary
After escaping Arkham Asylum on Christmas Eve, The Joker takes over Gotham’s airwaves and terrorizes the city for a crime. He challenges Batman and Robin to find his hidden TV studio and free his hostages. Commissioner Gordon, Detective Bullock and Summer Gleason, before midnight.
Our Take
A holiday episode that leans hard into Joker’s showman side, and it mostly works because Mark Hamill is clearly having a blast with the TV-host shtick. The hostage countdown gives it real momentum, though the comedy bits overstay their welcome in spots. Lighter than the usual fare, but a fun seasonal detour worth catching.
