Vendetta

Episode Summary & Review

Summary

Detective Bullock is arrested for kidnapping. Batman, who dislikes Bullock but nevertheless believes him to be a good man, investigates, and discovers the identity of the real criminal: Killer Croc, who harbors a vendetta against Bullock for capturing him once. Can he clear Bullock’s name before it is too late?

Our Take

A middling detective episode that never quite clicks. Killer Croc’s debut is underwhelming since he’s basically just a strong guy with a grudge, and the mystery of who framed Bullock resolves too easily to generate much suspense. Bullock getting a rare spotlight is the best part, even if the script doesn’t do much with it. Watchable, but skippable.
