Episode Summary & Review
Summary
After his company goes bankrupt, Temple Fugate becomes the Clock King. Fugate sets out to seek his revenge against the man whom he blames for his misfortunes: Mayor Hamilton Hill. Fugate kidnaps Hill, intending to do away with him to accomplish his revenge. Batman must stop Fugate from carrying out his revenge and save the mayor’s life.
Our Take
A middling villain debut that never quite justifies the Clock King’s obsession. The time-based traps are clever in theory but the pacing rushes through Fugate’s downfall so fast that his grudge against Hill feels thin. There are a few fun set pieces and the clock tower finale looks great, but overall it’s a forgettable hour you can skip without missing much.
