Summary
A botched police operation results in the suspension of those involved: Officer Wilkes, Officer Montoya, and Detective Bullock. Confronted by their superiors, each of them is forced to tell their tale of what happened that night.
Our Take
The Rashomon structure is a neat idea for a cop-focused episode, and Montoya finally getting real screen time is welcome, even if her segment is the strongest by default. Bullock’s self-serving version is fun, but the resolution wraps up too neatly and the villain barely registers. A decent change of pace that’s more interesting for what it attempts than what it pulls off.
